Our Story — A Legacy of Care Since 1974
For over five decades, the practice at 11, Jalan 19/29, Petaling Jaya has been a cornerstone of community healthcare. Originally established in 1974 as Klinik Oon & Tan, the clinic was founded by Dr. Oon and Dr. Tan, serving generations of families with compassion and professionalism.
Under their care, the clinic became well-known locally for comprehensive paediatric services and dermatology care, building strong relationships with patients from childhood through adulthood.
In 2020, like many practices, the clinic paused operations due to the global pandemic. After nearly half a century of continuous service, the doors were closed — but the legacy of care and community trust lived on.
SERVICES
Today, that legacy continues under a refreshed vision. Through the initiative of ACT4Health led by Prof. Dr. Tan Maw Pin, the clinic has been revived as ACT4Health Clinic with a renewed purpose: serving the elderly community and their families with specialized, person-centred care.
As Malaysia transitions toward an ageing nation, ACT4Health Clinic remains committed to meeting the rising demand for geriatric care and community support. Our team blends experience, empathy, and evidence-based practice to help older adults live healthier, more active lives — and to support their families every step of the way.
